say hi to jie.. the face , the smile, the height – more hints?
my twin.
look again.
physically we do look alike, we sound alike over the phone, we shared lotsa small gestures, the way we laugh, the way she tug her hair, she is so-me. haha
she’s the only one who can complete my sentence & the one who can read my mind. smts we just have to give each other ‘the look’ – the 9 mths together helps.
its not a walk in the park having a twin sis. we fought when we r kids, pulled at each other hair (jie – im sure u r smiling at this !) we bite each other, i toture her bear, she dump my bear into the rubbish chute ! kor had to rescue our bears. haha yet we look after each other in school.
as adults, we chat late into the nite, we giggle, we tok abt bfs, i woke her up when my tummy ache, i cry on her shoulder when shit happens, she gave me hugs, i laugh at her when she tok in her dreams, she pray with me when my hamster die, she shared with me abt christianity. (fyi – she the only christain in the family) she’s the one who taught me to say ‘love u jie’
it interesting having someone who is so similar to you yet different – diff religion, diff taste in bf ! haha. diff chara. how is that possible?! wonders of the world.
lastly – can i praise my parents here? =) they set alot of good examples of how a family should be – sharing, laughter, deal with problems together. i like it when dad say something & i can hear mum giggle. i like it when they tok late into the night, even though it gossip! haha ! i like it when they go singing every wkend. of coz, they have their share of ups & downs, which couple don’t? but from them, i see how a marriage could last for 20 years.
sweet.
PS – are you surprised by this posting? after reading so much abt me & my love. i always tok abt my family but seldom blogged abt them… i am what i am coz of them…
