1pm. putian, city square mall.

the restaurant called to cfm the 1pm reservation leaving me thinkin ‘wow, good service’ 🙂
01 jan
the restaurant called at 12.45 informin us there will be a 15-30 min delay. upset / piss. the staff promise to sit us by1.15pm
1pm
lady at the door apologize for the delay. promise us 15 min. urge me to go shop shop, she’ll call me when the table ready. we decided to stick ard outside the restaurant and chit-chat ! =)
1.15pm.
found myself waiting outside the restaurant. marched over with my finger to my watch and gave her a how-look? didnt bother to say anything.
i was told by the manager ‘clearing the table’
1.20pm
walked over again. manager informin us the kitchen couldnt get the food out on time. replied the manager (with a smile) ‘its really not my problem.’
i could tell the manager is stressed out by me. but too bad..
1.30pm
finally. we are seated. manager tried again to apologize to me. buffet crowd hard to control. replied him with a ‘its okie’ and decided to ignored him.
hello. really. i dont give a damn whether its your kitchen / customers fault. whats the point of reservation if customer are made to wait for 30 min?!
i’m not someone who will que for food. i rather eat somewhere else.
plus its my mum’s bdae..

dinner with jie yesterday.
ordered our food & jie goes, 7.45pm. see how long its gotta take.

chit chat, laughed & we realised it 8.05pm.
20 min. not good.
debate some.
look around & noticed lotsa grumpy faces.. everyone waiting for their food !
25 mins.
okie, lets go.
informed the lady at the counter (assuming she the manager, she’s not wearing uniform)
‘we’re leaving. the food taking wayyy too long’
she gave me a ‘huh-lood’
seriously, lady. will you wait 25mins for your food?
and we noticed.. there are lotsa unfulfilled orders in front of ours !
waste time !
hop over to jia xiang & our food were serve within 5 mins.. notice the difference ! 🙂
