its my always -wanted but somewhere along the grand course..
i asked myself: why, minying? why?? so adventurous !! look! this is tough !!

3 days later, we make our way there !

long long journey ! west to bedok !

we are like the country-pumpkin ! our first time at bedok reservoir ! 🙂

so, what happened next?

register, short trip to the locker area, put on the helmet / harness and off we go for our briefing.

we are surprised that the instructor DO NOT follow us through the course. listen to the instructions very carefully or you will end up like me.. pumpkin shouted at me a few times for not ‘attaching’ myself properly. he get very nervous & jumpy when he realised i didnt follow the safety procedure. i wasnt being notti or lazy.. i just forgot. it scared him.. sorry pumpkin, to make you worried.

there are 4 sites and all the sites end off with a zip across the reservoir.

it’s tough. the grand course.
both physically & mentally demanding, the wind, the height (2-3 storey), climbing.. my height put me at a disadvantage !

i dropped out at site 4. really.. i cant make it. i was very very tired.
site 3 was a killer. wait for the photos and i’ll explain !

my arms ached. my hands hurt. my legs are tired. and i bumped my head a couple of times !

thank you kervin for not pushing me at the last site. i know he’s a little disappointed that i didnt complete the course.
do i regret? nope.

through this course, i realised i am not as tough as i think i am.
but i am proud to completed 3/4 of the course.
i am proud of myself when i leap off the platform and zip across. alone.
