flat #3 – 11th storey

the seller, which is a bachelor is asking for 45k !! yes, the flat requires min reno. yes, its on the 11th storey. yes, the location is good. yes, the 3-room flat is huge ! but 45k !! seriously.

our agent text us: the flat was eventually sold for 40k !

flat #4 – 08th storey

there’s a funny smell once you step into the flat.
nicey pumpkin say, coz the owners are cooking. psst, dont take his words for it.  trust me. there IS a funny smell.

plus, the agent refuse to quote us. he insisted the COV is high and the buyer to make a offer. duh. waste our time !! somemore, he was 5 mins late for the viewing.

our final decision: the 8th storey unit !
aldy gave the owner 1k, now is the cooling period !

they came over with bengawan solo cake & cookies and i brought egg tarts & char siew pastry.

trip to temple @ bugis and we got our very own rubber stamp !

we met a housing agent on monday. sat down with her and discuss our requirements, expectations and the monies-talk. she’s a nice lady recommended by jie & horse-face. (shhhh.. !!)

after the meeting, i sent her a list of flats i saw on iproperty & property guru and the agent sent me her list.

3 days later, we viewed 2 flats !

flat #1 – 8th storey
its a little cluttered and require lotsa reno but we both fall in love with it.
its a little exp but pumpkin did some calculation.. its within our budget.

the last we heard, someone else make a offer for this lovely little flat but the seller is sitting on it.
meaning to say.. if we want, act fast !

flat #2 – 2th storey
its a non-chinese family and its on the 2th storey.
its far from the train station and it faces a nursing home.

mmmm..

conclusion
flat #1 has somehow became our benchmark !
we will see how it goes.

last, pumpkin thanks me for doing everything.. and i thank him for taking care of the expenses !

there smt abt dental-visit that terrified me !
pumpkin say.. minying, they are dentist. they are not out to hurt you okie?

still, i have problem falling aslp and i woke up at 4am on the morning of the visit ! hehe..

i was late for my dental visit. damn, i hate to be late.
called and reschedule. somemore, it rain !

i noticed the dentist sat at the reception area chit chatting with his friend while the receptionist cum assistant sign me in. half of me was like ‘minying, abort, abort mission !’ .. the other half of me silently cheer myself on !

the dentist fill up a cavity and move on for cleaning.

it hurts ! really !
moaning, clench my hands, close my eyes, look at the clock wishing time pass faster..

got home, shower, called pumpkin and started crying.. i cant help it !
i was scared..

me: it hurts..
him: are u okie?
me: pain pain..
him: its like that one !
me: how come u didnt tell me?
him: i cant tell u..  otherwise u wont go.
me: u lie to me !!
him: i didnt lie to u.. i just didnt tell u.
me: *laugh * you are right, but u shld tell me !
