I realized I don’t really give myself any New Year Resolution. what’s d point?! I never quit eating ice, stop biting my nails or get any fitter. Instead, i have master the art of contentment.. by simply looking back at my life.

The Proposal
That’s how my first day of 2011 started.. he got down on his knee!
He took me by surprise with the proposal. I mean, flowers in a shoe box? 12 paper airplanes to represent the 12 mths we been together.. awww …

I have asked him recently.. why me? He ‘sold’ when he realized two key things abt me. (1) no sitting on the sofa / bed unless bathed. (2) hold my breath when other pple around me sneeze or cough without covering their mouth.
How could he let his soul mate go!! I totally ‘get’ his freakish-neatness habit.

Malacca – Bike
Its been my always wanted for d longest time – to own a bike.
Jen felt that it’s impossible without me taking a spin on the cool little machine. Therefore, she arranged a trip to Malacca where her friend Sindy took me a spin around town.
I LOVE IT !
The wind in the hair.. slow lazy rhythm of the motor… cruising on a dirt-road.

Forest Adventure
Yes, I regretted not finishing the full 4 course obstacle. But, but.. I was really exhausted ! and the last obstacle look terrifying. Okie lah, I’m full of excuses.
I was scared when I realized the staff won’t be following us around. They briefed us and we are pretty much left to die. Haha ! that’s what I tot lah. I still remember hooking myself up at the first flying fox, look at kervin and told him.. ‘I will see you on the other side’ ! so DRAMA ! keke

I been dying to see the show for years but I never get a chance. Unfortunately, no one wants to go with me.. until Pumpkin came along ! he gladly took me there.
Until today, he still talks abt me waving at Mickey and Minnie. We are like a distance away from the stage but I CANT help it. Mickey & gf was waving at us ! I NEED to wave back ! keke

Wow, so generous of pumpkin to gave me a sub-card ! I have been putting it to good use but of coz I paid my bills in time ! it’s a privilege given to me and I’m not gotta abuse it.

Honestly, I like Dr Lee and his team. Oh well, I have to like him isn’t ?! Together, we pick, extract, screw, stick, rinse, chew, scrape.. all the horrifying thing I dislike.
I still can’t declare that the end result is worth it. Yes, I can smile or even laugh without a care abt my teeth but really.. the agony is not worth it.
Convocation
Ahh.. one of my proudest moment ! and I know, my family is very proud of me too.
I’m thankful to have Anna who started and completed this degree with me.

Leaving home
Yup. i literally packed my suitcase and left. And the feeling sucks.
The first 2 weeks was hell. I woke up thinking I’m at pioneer, I dreamt of my family only to be awake with kervin at my side. No mummy, no jie, no kor and dad. I cried and question myself.. whose brilliant idea was it to get married?! I even sorta blame kervin, secretly. I blame myself too. How come no one tell me abt this part??

It took a little getting used to. But I’m okie now. Though, smts .. i .. sigh at the thought of missing out in their life. But I know they will always be there for me, just like I will always be there for them too.
Dinner at Cable Car for Jen’s birthday

I felt a need to up or maintain the birthday expectation / surprise ! This year, I opt for dinner in the sky !
It was fun, the food is pretty good and the view is awesome. Overall, an expensive affair but worth every cents.
His Family
I couldn’t ask for better in-laws. His parents are fantastic.
His daddy is usually quiet but he will always make an effort to make small talk with me. On sat evening, I will park myself at their home kitchen chit-chatting with his mummy while she cooks. So far, she rejected our help in the kitchen. But through our conversation, I learnt more abt my in-laws and hear little stories abt kervin. So sweet.
I like his auntie. I could tell she care abt pumpkin and that touched me. she will always buy food and told us to bring home for following day breakfast. She happily swing by when we invited her to check out our new flat.

It’s really nice to hv a place of our own. The flat taught us to be more responsible.. in taking care of bills, cleanliness and maintenance. I’m very proud that we DIY most of our furniture. It’s tiring but fun. And we take better care of our furniture !

Honeymoon – Koh Samui

I will always love Koh Samui… coz it bring back wonderful memories of our honeymoon.
Soaking in the private pool, having breakfast, elephant rides, swapping away flies and mosquitoes.. spending time with pumpkin.
Somehow, i’m attracted to the simple life of Koh Samui. Maybe I was in a holiday mood and everything seems to slow down, or maybe its their pace of life affecting me.. whichever.. i love it. I like d feel of a small island where everyone seems friendly, cheap food and resort-ly feel.
I saw this lady who sits near a restaurant kitchen complaining abt life on the island. I could tell that she love the simplicity of the place and dislike hotel chains coming in and invading their space, taking away their fresh water supply. She just sit there having a drink, chit chatting and idling her time away… ahh, the pleasure of life.
Yup, Koh Samui definitely bring back fond memories.

i just have to blog abt my coloured hair.
I’m really amazed by the hair stylist at Alan & Guys. They managed to transform my super black hair into coloured hair. And I think $200 is not very exp, consider my hair are LONG !
I shall continue to support them !

I was so pretty that kervin does not recognize me ! hahaha .. its his first time putting on make up, lipstick and all ! hehe 1.5hr make up, strangers waving at us, sitting on grass, train track, chicken hair, going to toilet in d big and long gown.. paying a fortune for the photos ! haha !
I would definitely urge my friends to go for outdoor rather den indoor coz its so fun !

it’s so hard to look for the perfect gown ! I need gowns that suit my build, my style and personality. I’m thankful to Rachel of MDW for recommending me the perfect gown. Everyone loves my impactful white gown.

I couldn’t resist doing a tour of the room even though my make up artist is waiting for me.
We have everything in the room – bath tub, 3 sinks, living room, 2 toilets and all the toilet accessories. A night stay in Grand Park City Hall Suite will set you back by $550+ ! We are very happy that Grand Park allow us to extend our night stay in their bridal suite. Thank you peeps !
