This thing started out of the goodness of my heart .. and .. it became a general knowledge by the end of the day.
Met Jen for dinner and she left her purse in office.
After dinner, we walk pass a blind chap selling tissues.
i told jen ‘lets go back and buy tissue from him’
jen: my friends are always so kind
took out my wallet, dig around and relised.. I don’t have $1 coin. My smallest note is a $5.
Jen: I cant help you, my wallet in office. pls don’t give him $5 !
Me: but its not nice to walk away !
I walk over and pass my $5 to the blind chap.
He: how much you gave me?
Me: erm. $2
He: I give you change
Me: no need.
Took the tissues and left.
Jen: how do he know its $2 or $5? If he buy food? Pple can cheat his money!
Me: wah.. don’t be evil and cheat his money. But I agreed, there will be pple like that !
I went home and relate the whole thinky to k.
he took out the following notes and taught me how the blind tell the notes apart.
I found it interesting and whatsapp my siblings.
Kor sum it up:
$2 is one dot
$5 is two dot
$10 is three dot
$50 is three dot but arrange differently
Kor say they could tell by the size of the note too ! As usual, kor is the smarty pants !! he say he wonder about it once and goggle for answers.
Ohh, kervin was surprised that I actually gave $5 for 3 packs of tissue. I see it as my good deed of the day lah. Nothing to shout about.
Anyway, I hope you feel smarter after reading the above. 🙂
