we are going for a hotel stay for my 32 birthday !
i was thinking what else do i want for birthday?
a bicycle.
the problem is i dunno how to cycle!
had a bad accident 20+ years ago. i didnt know what is ‘danger’ !! hahaha, happily ride on neighbour’s bike to the edge of the staircase. first time, i managed to brake. second time, i managed to brake too.. at the bottom of the stairs with a big wound on my forehead.
jie ran away (she was scared when she saw blood) i ran to next door neighbour’s house and try to rinse away the blood ! the next thing i rem is sitting on a cab with mum, with towels pressed on forehead. the taxi driver was super stress when he saw all the blood. hahaha
den i rem lying on a cold steel bed, stitching. strangely, i dont remember the pain, i was too scare of ‘eat the cane’ den anything else. hehe
anyway, i decided to learn cycling ! pumpkin got me a bicycle and i had my first cycling lesson with him. we tried our best but i just couldnt find my balance on that few pieces of steel (or whatever material) structure.
*my fierce bike! we choose this bike coz the rest are too big for me !
there’s a smaller bike at the shop but comes w/o the basket.
my colleague actually gave me her cycling instructor contact. he seems like a nice uncle but hv to travel to his shop for cycling lesson. pumpkin goggled and found this www.terraoutdoors.com/
contacted the Suet Ling and we met at west coast park.
she came with a helmet and a correct-size (aka small) bicycle for me.
Lesson #1
– introduction of the bicycle
– pedaling
– balancing
– stop the bicycle
Met her again the following day.
Lesson #2
– safety check, always check the bicycle before you ride on it

wah lau.. it seems so easy in writing. its not okie. we met at 11am on both days and it was super hot ! i was super nervous, lost my confident after countless falls. i didnt want to go for the second lesson. my body was aching like mad but pumpkin urge me to go ! i am so glad i did. so so glad… coz i can cycle now !!
just 2 days and i can ! *huge smile*
went for a spin on my bicycle, took awhile to get used to my own bicycle ! yay ! so happy !
