Started work on 17 Feb and i was super worried. Will i get along with my colleagues? Will i hate my work? Lots of Worries..I am so so thankful that i am right where i belong !

This is where the fun begin! second day and i was involved in a event (low priority). Print Labels, Signage, Attendance List, Registration, Catering etc etc It was a small event, about 50 guests.

I am looking forward to the BIG event (high priority) in Oct ! (PS: most prob will bump into my ex-colleagues & bosses in Oct 2014)

My buddy is a 50 year old indian lady. we get along very well despite our age difference. she’s fun, friendly, young at heart, loud and a auntie ! she always threaten to hang our IT guy upside down. haha !

I met my ex-colleagues last night and they are surprise to see that i am happy. I didnt realised i was that unhappy at PLE.. I can feel the spring in my steps every morning on the way to work ! i havnet had that since i left NE.

i had dinner with 2 of my ex-colleague last night and it made me realised how much i missed them, esp Trista.

i heard lotsa stories after i left the company; mgmt saying minying can’t 吃苦 (hahaha, i had to goggle translate to chinese ); girl bad-mouthing me; tears in office and unhappy colleagues.

i am so so glad to put that all behind me.

there are things i definitely missed about my ex-company. the free flow packet milo in the fringe, interaction with customers (even though its smt i hate as well), BK hot coffee and the people.

so sweet ! the girls are using the lunch bag that i got for them 🙂

often wonder did i make the incorrect decision not joining the happy family? what if and what would.

guess i would never find out.

i know its coming, in fact, postponed it from 23 jan to 11 feb.

still..

i’ve been going to the same place, seeing the same pple for the past 6 mths. its just hard to say goodbye, even though i was the one who decided to pack my bag & go home. (wah, watch too much ANTM!)

the reason for leaving: i am simply not cut out for cs and sales.

i am thankful once again to have a great manager and good colleagues. i will always remember the lame jokes, the laughter we shared, the whining sessions we had, the secret meeting, the tea breaks and my first D&D.

i was doing some stuff in office when my manager & colleague called me.
“minying, come over here!”

i turned around and they passed me this super cute dog-balloon !

*they know how much i want a dog ! so, this is the next best thing.

my office receptionist came to me at 4+ with a carton. i thought she was going to give me a carton of oranges, it turn out to be flowers from Joanna !

she called me for lunch sometime in Dec but i didnt join in. i realised much later that its actually her farewell lunch. i felt so bad abt it. i know she is sad to leave the company (just like me..)

anyway, i went to get her a gift after work. woke up early the next day, rush to old office early in the morning and left this on her desk:

i got another birthday request this year !
pumpkin to rent a car and bring me to west coast mcd.

cab home after mozza coz he book a car from 10pm to 12am.

first, he gave me flower for birthday ! woo !! just a single stalk this year but i am happy ! i love flowers

the car ride was fun ! he told me to come up with a list of places that i want to go. Looking forward to more adventure.
