decided to use the leftover sauce to make a v-day dinner for pumpkin !
rush home after work, pick up a few things from seng siong., clear the table, place ikea lamp and play one thousand years (piano / cello version) once he reach home !

we took the 8.30am flight ! decided to save $$ and took the train to airport 🙂

i got the whole day to myself.
the plan is to sleep late, have a good lunch by myself, do my nails, massage and eat pizza for dinner !

so i sleep late.. woke up at 10+am !!
lunch at old town.. why order the normal prawn mee when i can have supreme prawn mee !! woo !

off to jean yip to do my nails. i noticed a bouquet of flowers on their chair when i was walking to the shop.
the staff saw me and hand me the bouquet.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!

huh? the staff explained.. a few days ago a lady called and asked abt my appt time. she told jean yip that she’s gotta send a bouquet of flowers to jean yip, pls pass the bouquet to minying. they are surprise that my lady friend didnt mention the above to me !

ohh ya ! at 3 mins to 12am.. i realised we havent cut cake ! i told him to buy me a slice of cake ! we jump out of bed, grab the cake. frantically look for the lighter, couldnt find it ! i told him, its okie. proceed to close my eyes, make wishes and pretend to blow out candle. hahahaha

we are suppse to go last weekend but the non-stop rain force us to postpone it by a week. i have no idea what she’s planning and i stop guessing after awhile ! haha !

she told me to get ready by 5pm and will pick me up.

i hop into the taxi and try very hard to see where we are going !

i gotten my yearly mrs chua bonus ! erm… actually, i hv no idea how come i am entitled to a lump sum from mr chua. anyway, why waste time thinking of ‘why’ when i could use the time to think ‘how to spend it’

i was telling pumpkin.. wah, 1.5k can buy a LV bag !
he gave me the LOOK.

he was shocked to see me with so many shopping bags ! the only time i carried so many shopping bags is when we go NTUC for our grocery shopping..

anyway, i put my money to good use:

*i got smt for his parents / my in-law ! i really wanted to get those bottled bird nest but my in-laws recently brought quite abit of  the “real” bird nest. im sure they wont be impressed with the bottled-version. i was looking around and i saw this peng cai, $88 from new moon ! fyi: eu yan sang is selling their verison of pang cai at $138. i decided to save $50 and get new moon.

*these are for my parents. i’m too stingy to buy those ‘real’ bird nest, i settled for the next best thing ! these are $20 each. i got a bottle for pumpkin and a bottle for myself 🙂

*i got these for pumpkin. he really needs to take better care of his eyes. and i found out recently, he love black chix soup ! i shall be nice and cook these for him 🙂

*got myself a pair of shoes ! there’s a 30% sale, its about $33.

*finally, i passed him this top from Zara. believe it anot, this is the cheapest polo tee i can find at vivo ! i refuse to spend $50 and above on a POLO-Tee. He need a new top for CNY and ta-dah, $36 !

so.. all in all, i spend about $280. what did i do with the rest? use it to pay off the necklace i got for Jie and my jean yip nails package. did i mentioned i save $600 ! woohoo !

i was aiming to get a eye cream but its $70 !! couldnt bring myself to spend that kinda amt on a eye cream. hehe, happy with myself ! 1.5k make alot of pple happy 🙂

i scan the delivery note and saw my name !! i started smiling.
